Numbers Tell A Story

One of the products of the Information Age is the immense amount of information that we have to absorb. We receive 5x as much information today as we did in 1986 and it is estimated that the amount of information that we consume outside of work on an average day amounts to 34 gigabytes or 100,500 words.

One unavoidable part of the information involves NUMBERS. Whether it's your L1R5 score, NAPFA score or the number of Facebook likes on your page, numbers are involved. Numbers help us communicate better, show us where are and enable us to set key goals to improve our performance. In short, numbers do tell a story. And the moral of the story is, you need to be able to make sense of numbers in this knowledge-based economy that we live in.
