Singapore and Asian Schools Maths Olympiads (SASMO)

On 9 April 2014, 12 Hendersonians took part in the Singapore and Asian Schools Maths Olympiads (SASMO).  Prior to the competition, they received training and were exposed to the various types of questions that might come out.

The Singapore and Asian Schools Maths Olympiads (SASMO) provides a good opportunity for the pupils to gain exposure to the rigour of the Math Olympiad and pit their skills against other pupils.  SASMO awards trophies, collar pins and certificates to the top 48% for individual and 30% for team participants and winners will be invited to take part in the finals of the Asia International Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO) to be held in Chengdu, China from 26 to 30 July.
