More than 60 schools from different parts of Singapore come together to participate in either the primary or secondary category. This competition is an avenue for students, who are proficient in math or have an interest in solving puzzles, to enrich their curriculum by applying different skills in math (such as application, analytical skill, logical thinking) into the solving of suduko puzzles. These students are also required to work collaboratively as a team to strategize their process in solving the puzzles in order to complete as many puzzles in the shortest time as possible.
The students found the experience fun and engaging and look forward to taking part for next year.
